ADPO is a 3D city square where founders pay to take over the screens. There is a leaderboard, and the leaderboard is the whole product: the highest total bid takes over the biggest screens, the next few take the boards around the square, and everyone else is listed in order down the side. This post is the full set of rules in plain terms.
The board in five rules
- Submit anything with a URL. A product, a site, a project, a profile. No account, no approval queue, no ad to design.
- Pay what you want, from $5. Whole US dollars. The amount you have paid in total is your score.
- The board sorts by score. Highest total sits at #1. Ties go to whoever reached that total first.
- To take a rank, pay $1 more than whoever holds it. Paying again on the same URL adds to your total, which is how you climb back after being passed.
- Nothing expires. Your listing stays up, your total keeps counting, and there are no refunds when someone passes you.

What a rank buys
Every listing is on the leaderboard, but the screens are what people look at. Where you appear is decided purely by rank:
- #1 takes over the hero surfaces — the tower, the ribbon and the wrap-around screens that fill the default view.
- #2 to #5 hold the prime boards on the buildings facing the square, visible without turning the camera.
- #6 to #25 are on the smaller boards along the two flanking buildings.
- Everyone else is on the leaderboard panel and in the ticker, in rank order, on every page of the board.
Each listing also gets its own page (for example the current #1) with its bid, click count and category, and a place on its category board. Clicks from the screens, the panel and the listing page are counted and shown next to the listing.
What we take from your site
There is no creative to produce. When you paste a URL we fetch its title, description and icon, sample the icon for a brand colour, and that becomes the listing on the screens and in the panel. You can override the title and choose a category before paying. Once paid, the creative locks — it is what you bought.
Links from ADPO go straight to your site with utm_source=adpo.lol, so you can see the visits in your own analytics. Query strings on the URL you submit are stripped, and link shorteners, invite links and affiliate URLs are refused.
Why totals never decay
Some boards knock a percentage off every listing each day so the top keeps churning. ADPO does not. The board is a record of what people have paid, and a $50 listing from last month is worth exactly $50 today. It means the top of the board gets more expensive over time, and it means a position you have paid for is not taken away from you by a clock — only by someone who pays more.
Moderation
Before payment, the URL is checked against Google Safe Browsing. After payment, an automated review applies the rules — no adult content, no scams, no impersonation, no chat or invite links, a real product behind the URL — and a person looks at anything it flags. A listing that fails is held: it keeps its total but comes off the screens and the list until it is approved or fixed, and the next listing moves up meanwhile. Held listings are not refunded, so read the rules before you pay.
Frequently asked
Can I pay again to move up?
Yes. Pay on the same URL and the new amount is added to your total. Most people do this in steps rather than one large bid.
What happens when I am outbid?
You move down one rank and keep everything else. If you were #1 you lose the hero screens to the new #1 and take the first prime board.
Is there a minimum to be on the screens?
No fixed amount — the top 25 ranks are on the screens, whatever they cost on the day. On a young board that is often not much.
Do you charge tax?
Checkout is handled by Stripe and applicable taxes are calculated there. The score is always the USD amount before tax.
Can I get a refund?
No. Every payment is final, including if you are passed, held or removed for breaking the rules. That is what makes the board mean anything.
